Hallway
A long, spacious hallway that sets the tone from the moment you arrive; bright, airy and welcoming, with natural light flowing through the space.
There’s a dedicated cupboard for coats and shoes, making it easy to settle in and keep everything organised. You’ll also find a small collection of books here, inviting you to browse, pick something up, and truly make yourself at home from the moment you step inside.

Living Room:
The heart of the flat is a bright, spacious living area designed for both relaxing and spending time together. Large windows flood the room with natural light and offer a lovely glimpse out towards the Firth of Forth; the perfect backdrop for a morning coffee or a slow, cosy evening.
There’s plenty of comfortable seating, with a generous sofa and armchair, layered with soft throws and cushions, making it easy to settle in after a day of exploring. The space has a calm, homely feel, with wooden floors, soft lighting, and thoughtful touches throughout.
You’ll also find a TV for relaxed evenings in, as well as a coffee table and plenty of space to spread out; whether you’re unwinding with a book, enjoying a glass of wine, or planning the next day’s adventures.
It’s a room that feels light and airy during the day, and wonderfully cosy as the evening draws in; a space that guests naturally gravitate towards.

Main Bedroom:

Blackout blinds create the perfect setting for deep, uninterrupted sleep, helping you wake feeling completely restored. Thoughtfully designed with a spacious wardrobe, chest of drawers and bedside tables, there’s plenty of room to settle in with ease, while the calm, uncluttered feel keeps the space effortlessly serene.

Second Bedroom:
A light-filled and thoughtfully designed second bedroom, offering both comfort and versatility. The inviting double bed provides a restful space to unwind, while the full-length window fills the room with natural light, creating an airy, uplifting feel.
A standout feature is the beautiful wooden desk, a perfect spot to settle in and gently catch up on work, or simply curl up with a good book. A curated selection of books can be found here, as well as in the hallway, inviting you to slow down and make yourself at home.
Complete with a wardrobe for easy storage and a calm, uncluttered atmosphere, this room offers a peaceful balance of productivity and relaxation.

Kitchen:
A beautifully light-filled kitchen, seamlessly connected to both the living room and second bedroom through elegant wooden sliding doors. This thoughtful layout allows natural light to pour in from both sides, creating a bright and inviting space throughout the day.
Fully equipped for both relaxed mornings and home-cooked evenings, the kitchen features a large fridge-freezer, cooker with hob, two-drawer air fryer, and a washer-dryer for added convenience. You’ll also find everything you need for dining in, along with all the essentials for slow mornings and cosy evenings with your favourite hot drink.

Bathroom:
A clean, contemporary bathroom designed with simplicity and comfort in mind. A full-sized bath with overhead shower offers the choice of a long soak or a refreshing start to the day, while a large wall-length mirror enhances the sense of space and light.
A generous countertop provides plenty of room for your toiletries, keeping everything within easy reach while maintaining a calm, uncluttered feel.

I truly enjoy getting to know my guests and am always happy to be as involved or hands-off as you prefer. My aim is to make your stay feel as comfortable, welcoming and thoughtfully personalised as possible.

As this is my primary home, it’s a space I care deeply about, and I want you to feel just as safe, relaxed and nurtured here as I do. I’ve put together a welcome booklet filled with recommendations for local activities, dining spots and attractions, to help you make the most of your time.

You’ll also find a selection of books throughout the flat, offering a deeper glimpse into the local area, as well as Scotland’s rich history and culture; perfect for a quiet moment of discovery during your stay.
